Paulo Nogueira has been teaching and carrying out research in the field of Arts Education, both in the context of training visual arts teachers and in supervising theses and research projects in PhD programs. At the Faculdade de Psicologia e Ciências da Educação da Universidade do Porto (FPCEUP) he teaches Psychology of Arts Education; Arts and Visual Culture Education; also Writing Workshop, in a close connection to the Master’s degree in Visual Arts Teaching, of which he was director from 2021 to 2023, manly in subjects related to research in arts education. Paulo Nogueira also teaches in the PhD in Arts Education at the Faculdade de Belas Artes da Universidade do Porto (FBAUP). In recent years, he has been involved in coordination and evaluation teams and in different proceedings concerning arts education, engaging in debates and scientific events. He is a contributing member of the IDENTIDADES_Colectivo de Acção/Investigação (ID_CAI) and a researcher at the Rede Internacional de Investigação em Artes, Educação Artística e Arte/Educação (enREDE). Paulo Nogueira is an integrated researcher at the Centre for Research and Educational Intervention (CIIE/FPCEUP) and a member of the Institute for Research in Art, Design and Society (i2ADS/FBAUP) at the University of Porto, Portugal.
